Welcome to the new Rymore Wood Lodge blog. As we move through 2019 we will be posting regular updates to give past and hopefully potential future guests news and useful information about the Lodge and the surrounding area.
As you may have read, 2018 marked a significant change for the way Rymore Wood Lodge is managed. We have been very lucky in getting Handpicked Lodges to take over the day to day management and handle all the bookings. After nearly 20 years driving up and down the A9 (and as I’m not getting any younger), we had been looking for a way to slow down a little without lowering the quality of service offered. I believe Handpicked Lodges is a great fit, both for us and our loyal guests. Tanja and Judith head up a young, enthusiastic, local and above all experienced team who know the area well and will bring new and fresh ideas to continue to make a stay at Rymore Wood Lodge an even better, more relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Fiona and I will still be very active but we will be taking more of a back seat in the day to day management and certainly the Handpicked Lodges team have already demonstrated to me that they are very approachable and in tune with guests requirements.
